We have had some pain since the last blog and have bypassed most of our Markardo and some of our Serge. Which is a shame as they were very good looking crops. Today near Amber Hill we welcomed a rather large, in number, BBC crew and the chef James Martin. They are making a series of programmes called The Flying Chef which is due to be broadcast in September on BBC2. He was like a kid with a new toy driving the viner, which he did well and kept straight. After his spell "working" he then prepared a dish in the field which included peas off course. There were some great gadgets on show including a helicopter drone which took some fantastic shots.
